OTOMATIS ROMANTIS

A drama/comedy movie about two souls in their search of true love. There is Nadia (Marsha Timothy), a beautiful and successful journalist who constantly thinks that she will never find her ideal partner. A total and utter irony considering she is well-known for her love advices and guidelines of getting one, in the woman magazine she works for.
But love is indeed unpredictable. It is Bambang (Tora Sudiro), a humble unadorned village-man, working as an administration employee in her office, who is able to capture her heart. It was his honest and sincere attitude that attracts her to him. Unfortunately, Nadia’s prestige - and the fact that Bambang always consider her a superior that needs to be respected - makes this beautiful young woman unable to confess her love.
This unspoken emotion is sensed by Nabila (Wulan Guritno), Nadia’s Older sister who fully supported what her little sister is feeling. However, Nadia still has her own worries. She is afraid that Bambang will follow the path of Dave (Tukul Arwana), Nabila’s husband, who changed 180 degrees into a total vain and flirtatious jerk after he got rich and successful.
When Nadia can no longer hold contain of her feelings and confess her Love to Bambang, reality bites. He tells her that he will marry his brother’s pregnant girlfriend since Trisno (Dwi Sasono), his brother, wouldn’t want to take the responsibility of being the poor girl’s husband. Will Bambang’s virtuous intention deprive Nadia’s love of this man?
